Is this a quotation?
No. It is an early-stage kitchen planning budget. Confirmed design, dimensions, products and site conditions are required for a formal quotation.
What is excluded?
Plumbing, electrical and lighting works, gas works, flooring, tiling, plastering, decorating, structural and other building works, removal and moving services are excluded from every result.
Do I need measurements?
No. Approximate size is enough to begin. Supplying measurements, wall runs or a plan generally improves confidence and narrows the range.
Why is the result a range?
Early projects contain uncertainty. A range is more honest than false precision and accounts for specification detail, missing information and typical market variation.
Why is an email required?
It lets us save your private project and create your personal budget, planning guide and secure continuation link. The calculator does not require an account.
Will a kitchen company contact me?
No. During this consumer launch your project and contact details are not shared with kitchen companies or sponsors.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Contact us with your project reference. Authorised administrators can export, delete or anonymise records and revoke continuation access under the documented privacy process.
Does the budget include a sink and tap?
Yes. A kitchen sink and standard tap are included in every result. Optional tap, sink and accessory upgrades are added only when selected.
Does cabinetry include fitting?
The model includes a normal standard dry-fit allowance where applicable. Some local kitchen companies bundle this into cabinetry while other suppliers itemise it. Plumbing, electrical, gas and building trades remain separate.
How are appliances priced?
Each appliance and quantity is priced individually at the Basic, Quality or Premium level. The allowance is not calculated as one percentage of the whole kitchen.
How are worktops priced?
Laminate, quartz and premium stone or porcelain use separate fitted planning rates. Stone allowances also account for normal templating and fabrication; specialist edges and waterfall ends cost more.
Does my county or region change the price?
Location mainly changes fitting, travel and delivery. National product prices are not inflated simply because you live in a different county or region.
Can I upload a kitchen plan?
Yes. You can upload a house plan, kitchen design or your own measurement drawing. Visible dimensions can improve the estimate, but you remain in control of every choice used for pricing.
What if the plan cannot be read?
Your file remains saved privately and the calculator continues with manual questions. It never invents measurements when the drawing is unclear.
Why can my final quotation differ?
A final quotation uses surveyed dimensions, an exact cabinet schedule, named products, site access and confirmed fitting scope. Those details are not all known at the early planning stage.
Can I compare different specifications?
Yes. If the result is higher than expected, the live comparison screen can test meaningful changes such as a different worktop, appliance level or cabinet specification without changing the saved original until you accept them.
Can I use the result to compare quotations?
Yes—as a planning reference. Compare cabinet construction and quantity, worktops, appliances, accessories, fitting, taxes and exclusions line by line rather than comparing headline totals alone.
How often is pricing reviewed?
The price book is versioned and reviewed as market evidence changes. Your saved result keeps the version used when it was calculated.
Is the calculator free?
Yes. There is no charge to complete the calculator or download your Kitchen Starter Pack.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Your email address creates a secure continuation link so you can return without choosing a password.
